
Tennis camp at TK Slovan Bratislava
From 30 January to 1 February 2025, an intensive three-day tennis camp took place at the Slovan Bratislava Tennis Club. The event was focused on the development of playing skills, physical fitness and mental stamina of the players. The camp was attended by young talented players of different age categories, who had the opportunity to improve their tennis skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Training schedule
During the three days, the players underwent challenging training units focused on stroke technique, tactical preparation and fitness training. Each day started with a warm-up and dynamic warm-up, followed by individual and group on-court training sessions where players focused on accuracy and consistency of strokes, movement around the court and match strategy.
In addition to tennis training, the players also engaged in conditioning exercises and recovery, while mental training focused on focus and mental resilience in match situations.
Sparring matches and evaluation
One of the other highlights of the training camp was the sparring matches, during which the players applied the knowledge they had gained directly in the game. The coaches continuously analyzed their performance and provided individual feedback so that the players could effectively work on their strengths and weaknesses.
