Conditioning camp
A conditioning camp took place from August 10–14, 2026, with the main goal of alleviating the strain of the demanding summer tournament season while also preparing the players physically for the upcoming tournaments in the coming weeks.
Over the course of five days, the players completed a varied training program focused on developing endurance, strength, coordination, speed, and recovery. Training sessions took place at the fitness center, on the track, and in the pool. The program also included compensatory exercises, stretching, recovery, and afternoon tennis training sessions, during which the players applied the motor skills they had acquired directly on the court.
Head coach Peter Lopata provided expert guidance for the camp, preparing and coordinating the entire program. Coaches Pavol Krt and Branislav Sekáč contributed to the tennis portion, leading the afternoon training sessions on the courts.
We would like to thank all the players and coaches for their excellent work, great attitude, and the pleasant atmosphere throughout the week. We believe that this training will help the players in the remainder of the season, and we are already looking forward to our next training camp together.
